  • Position Description

    The Endpoint Engineering Coordinator is responsible for ensuring that mobile device access requests are completed within department Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and for ensuring that Corporate mobile devices are enrolled in AirWatch. This individual will assist with managing and supporting mobile devices and ensuring end point device compliance with company standards, and will assist team members with various projects and departmental tasks.

    Requirements

    • High school diploma or GED equivalent
    • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or related preferred
    • Up to one (1) year of experience with:
      • Quality assurance testing methodologies and practices
      • The creation of technical and non-technical documentation and user guides
      • Check Point Encryption or other Full Disk Encryption solution
      • LANDesk Management Suite or other Systems Management solution
      • AirWatch or other Mobile Device Management solution
      • Remedy or other Incident Management solution
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills; will be communicating with the Business, IT, and end users
    • Ability to:
      • Perform work independently with minimal supervision; ability to understand role and proactively guide own daily work within that role
      • Create and maintain professional relationships within all levels of the organization (peers, work groups, customers, and supervisors); will be communicating with the Business, IT, and end users
      • Quickly respond to changing assignments, work settings and priorities; will be working on several assignments with various priorities at any given time
      • Work independently and as a member of a team; ability to interact with other team members to solve issues as a group; ability to work within a diverse team environment
    • Detail-oriented with excellent follow-up practices; will be working on items that can be audited by Ryder Audit Services
    • Demonstrated analytical skills. Will need to gather information, articulate, visualize, and solve issues
    • Excellent knowledge of MS Office, Word, Excel, Outlook
    • Solid knowledge of Mobile Device technology, cellular networks, device and operating system types (intermediate level)

    Responsibilities

    • Assist with:
      • Mobile Device Management End User account creations and deletions using the following tools: AirWatch, Active Directory Manager Plus, Ryder Access Request DB, and Microsoft Excel
      • The reconciliation and enforcement of AirWatch on Corporate-owned mobile devices; end user follow-ups will be made via e-mails and phone calls; Microsoft Excel (including vlookups) and Microsoft Word (including mail merge) will be utilized for the reconciliation
      • Managing and supporting mobile devices; this includes researching end user issues reported in Remedy and, if needed, working with the Vendor to address
      • Department projects, which include creating end user documentation, coordinating a schedule with end users, deploying applications and/or application upgrades, and communicating with end users
    • Maintain accurate list of current AirWatch devices by reviewing and purging out-of-date devices on a regular basis on the AirWatch console
    • Assist with enforcing company standards of hard drive encryption on all laptops and LANDesk on all PCs; this will include reviewing Excel documentation and PC queries and comparing to the devices recorded in the Checkpoint and LANDesk consoles
    • Accurately execute mobile device testing on a variety of mobile devices such as Apple and Android smartphones and tablets; create related documentation in Microsoft Word
    • Perform other duties as assigned
