As part of the Ryder IT team, the Data Services Intern will perform a variety of job functions for traditional on premise as well as cloud based environments, including but not limited to, operational and analytical database design, working with structured, semi-structured and/or unstructured data, data profiling/analysis, database, data ingestion, ETL reporting development, testing, documentation, and production environments support including troubleshooting and break fixes. The position could be extended past the summer internship period and may lead to a temporary position.
The Intern .NET API Developer will be responsible for the programming of REST APIs following best standards and practices set by Enterprise Integration Services. Developer will work closely with the Technical Lead and other developers to learn more about the tools and design patterns being implemented, and the specific programming language being utilized. With guidance from the team, the developer will get an opportunity to build their own APIs, as well as enhance existing APIs.
