  • Position Description

    The Billing Supervisor position coordinates and supervises the shift, daily, and weekly billing activities. Provides leadership, motivation, training, and development of workforce; executing against department requirements. Supervises all department processes and KPI requirements.

     

    Responsibilities:

    • Accomplishes billing human resource objectives by selecting, orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, appraising job contributions; recommending compensation actions; adhering to policies and procedures.
    • Meets billing operational standards by contributing billing information to strategic plans and reviews; implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolving problems; identifying billing system improvements.
    • Accomplishes billing departmental objectives by measuring billing results against plans; evaluating and improving methods; making required changes; implementing corrective actions.
    • Guides employee actions by researching, developing, writing, and updating billing policies, procedures, methods, and guidelines.
    • Maximizes revenue by resolving order and invoice disputes; maintaining customer relations; Ensuring accurate expense payments.
    • Approves credit memos by reviewing documentation.
    • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications.
      Accomplishes accounting and organization mission by completing related results as needed.

     Background/Experience:

    • Intermediate to advanced excel skills
    • High attention to detail
    • Strong math, organization, and problem solving skills

    Requirements

    • High School diploma
    • Bachelor's degree Business, Finance or related field of study preferred
    • 3-5 years job related experience
    • Detailed oriented with excellent follow-up practices
    • Excellent organizational skills
    • Demonstrates problem solving skills
    • Ability to simultaneously handle multiple priorities
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills
    • Demonstrates customer service skills
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office products Microsoft Office (Access, Excel, Word, Power Point, and Outlook)  (intermediate level)
    • Extensive understanding of expense and revenue (intermediate level)
    • Extensive iDirect experience and knowledge (intermediate level) preferred
