The Customer Logistics Manager is typically dedicated to one logistics account and is responsible for all aspects of operations and account management. The CLM is primarily responsible for the leadership of direct reports as well as the attainment of daily operational goals and objectives within an assigned functional area or account.
Microsoft Office application (expert level – specifically within Excel)
WMS/IMS systems (LCM preferable)
Engineering Change experience
Excellent problem solving skills
Strong organization, analytical, and computer skills
Detail oriented with excellent follow-up practices (process driven)
Management of assigned direct reports to include employee relation issues, performance management, new employee training and development
General Knowledge of GM Operational Supply Chain Requirements
Ability to create and maintain professional relationships within all levels of the organization (Peers, Work groups, Customers, Supervisors)
Capable of multi-tasking, highly organized, with excellent time management skills
DOT/Hazmat knowledge may be required based on the account(s)
Individual must be flexible with hours and the potential of working weekends.
