The Group Logistics Manager is typically responsible for multiple customer logistics accounts, one large customer or one large customer site with $7M to $10M in operating revenue. It includes the management and improvement of services provided to the customer(s), as well as the development and implementation of customer performance measurements.
The Group Logistics Manager is responsible for leading, guiding, educating and directing Customer Logistics Managers (CLM), Logistics Managers (LM), and/or Senior Logistics Managers (SLM) to be highly effective in a Lean culture. The GLMI role is the driver of the continuous improvement culture and responsible for cultivating operational excellent capable talent. This position has Profit and Loss responsibility for assigned account(s). May be responsible for leading new start-ups, as necessary.
