Position Description

The Senior Digital Marketing Manager manages the implementation and optimization of multi-vertical SEM and SEO initiatives. The right candidate will have a deep understanding and hands on experience creating and implementing detailed Internet Marketing activities using this knowledge to help empower their team to perform at their peak. He/She is well versed in using analytics to constantly glean insights that will help us optimize and refine our strategy.


  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related field
  • Ten (10) years or more SEO and SEM experience. Strong emphasis and prior success on organic search optimization
  • Five (5) years or more experience leading a team of digital marketers
  • Excellent project management and communication skills
  • Excellent verbal and written skills
  • Detail oriented and analytical
  • Knowledge of Business Intelligence software; Ad platforms, SEO best practices, social networks, etc (Advanced level)


  • Develop and implement the ongoing Digital Marketing strategy that is particularly focused on SEM and SEO initiatives
  • Leads a team for the successful creation and implementation of SEO and SEM campaigns
  • Responsible for the hands-on implementation of SEO related efforts onto Ryder Websites
  • Oversees SEM strategies and implementations. Where needed aid in the development of campaigns
  • Work with Segment planners to create highly relevant content and campaigns
  • Monitors campaigns performance and conversion and makes optimization adjustments
  • Generates and distributes regular reports-with needed insights- using SEM Rush, Google Analytics, and other analytics sources
  • Collaborate across the organization to create robust and effective marketing campaigns
  • Based on the data and analytics, makes recommendations and/or makes appropriate adjustments that will increase campaign performance
  • Modifies ad copy, targeting, and ad extensions
  • Develops and executes test plans pertaining to new campaigns before rolling out to targeted audience
  • Tests and improves landing pages to optimize overall conversion performance
  • Manages SEM budget and media planning
  • Performs other duties, as assigned
