Position Description

As part of the Ryder team the Consultant - Marketing Special Projects will handle a variety of tasks.

Requirements

  • 4 (four) year college degree required
  • A minimum of 3 (three) years of experience including 3 (three) years B2B and/or B2C marketing program management
  • Experience creating financial plans and market economic models

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Project and event management skills 
  • Demonstrated tactical marketing knowledge including conducting market research, developing campaigns, marketing through direct mail, websites and email 
  • Demonstrated creative development skills, experience managing vendors, ability to develop new ideas with limited budget 
  • Other characteristics include creativity, good project management skills, strong written and oral communication skills, high energy, ability to work on teams

Responsibilities

Objective of this role is to execute current marketing programs including:

  • Execution and tracking of annual sales & marketing strategy
  • Manage Strategic Account Plans; prepare materials for quarterly reviews, track progress in CIM
  • Responsible for the creative development across all functions associated with Sales & Marketing strategy
  • Manage Concentrix call center performance for any non-lease prospecting work (by-go rental line, NRS line, UVS referral program, retention program execution)
  • Manage rental phone system project
  • Design system based on field needs 
  • Contact and negotiate with vendors 
  • Roll out new products to the field 
  • Train the field employees on new system
  • Obtain feedback to further customize system to meet field needs
  • Provide analysis and resulting recommendations/conclusions from call center performance and retention program results
  • Execute select retention programs (e.g. VP Sponsor, National Customer Platinum program, Lifecycle programs, etc.)
  • Manage CSI program including script refinement, contact center and reporting
  • Manage creative contracts with outside vendors as necessary Execute term extension and renewal campaigns including target customers, creative execution and reporting Others as defined by VP Marketing
