Position Description

This position is responsible for analysis and utilization of continuous improvement (optimization and cost savings) to design Supply Chain Solutions in current and future operations. In addition, this position will also be responsible for creating and maintaining effective supplier and customer relationships in order to solve complex problem.


We're looking for...

  • A person who is Data Driven and likes to work with new technology or software programs. Strong Access and Excel (SQL would be a plus!)
  • A self-starter who is tech savvy!
  • A person with the drive to learn more everyday as well as teach what they learn to others
  • A creative thinker who likes to bounce ideas off others
  • A person who can deal with ambiguity and is flexible



*This role is posted as an Entry Level role but has the possibility to bump to a more mid-level role pending the right experience



  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Transportation or related field or 8 (eight) years equivalent work experience
  • Intermediate level skills with MS Word such as including styles, mail merge, tabs, tables, columns and breaks, graphics, fields, headers and footers, working with margins, page orientation, and spelling/grammar
  • Intermediate level skills with MS Excel such as freezing/unfreezing panes, hiding/un-hiding data, setting print titles & page breaks, linking workbooks, creating external links, re-directing links, customizing toolbars & menus, protecting a worksheet, filtering options, and chart formatting options



Candidate must also possess strong customer service, analytical skills to include:

  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Ability to work independently with minimum supervision


  • Collects data and performs statistical analysis
  • Maps and documents processes
  • Conducts transportation analysis
  • Participates in continuous improvement projects Works with other team members to develop alternative solutions
  • Uses Lean Six Sigma tools (5s and 5whys)
