Position Description

As part of the Ryder team the Sales Coordinator will handle a variety of tasks.

Requirements

  • High School Degree or general equivalency diploma required
  • Advanced level skills in MS Word such as keyboard short cuts, creating macros, merges, templates, and working with images and text
  • Advanced level skills in MS Excel such as working with formulas, data tables, pivot Charts, graphs, data management and analysis

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS: 

  • Knowledge of vehicle specifications, and cost sheet and proposal preparation strongly preferred
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Detail oriented with good follow-up skills and customer focused
  • Knowledge of RIDE, CATS, SAM, FIS, Options, VP97, RMDS, Maintenance Info Center, and SOM strongly preferred
  • 2 + years of Ryder experience preferred

Responsibilities

Responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to:

  • Preparation of Proposals - Create/Maintain proposal template and proposal content database
  • Coordinate with sales person to determine most appropriate proposal, format, and content
  • Prepare proposal and forward when needed - soft and/or hard copies
  • Creation of cost sheet via options (approximately 50 - 75% of all cost sheets) Obtain from sales person all appropriate equipment specifications, application, services, tax, lease structure information, EVA and margin parameters
  • Create cost sheet and forward
  • Make adjustments as necessary
  • Creation of Customer Care Plans Obtain all relevant information from sales person
  • Populate CCR documents. Forward to all appropriate personnel
  • Schedule Annual Customer Reviews Maintain working calendar for each CDM/BDM
  • Maintain customer contact database for each CDM/BDM
  • Utilizing calendar and coordinating with the sales person and customer schedule annual reviews
  • Prepare review binders. Research accounts for sales force when extensions / addition/ replacement / annual review is due
  • Check on RCRC history, mileage, fuel, shop records, rental records, etc. VCNs / Vehicle Tracking - make sure VCNs are cut and go through using VA Daily Report
  • Request proper files from 'transfer from' location
  • Send files to 'transfer to' location
  • Ensure proper tag and registration is ordered
  • Follow up with shops on necessary in / out-service work
  • Create and maintain customer orientation schedule and New Customer Orientation Report (RIDE)
  • Maintain Lost Business - Estimated Report (RIDE) Monitor new account transitions to ensure transition (and related record reassignments) on a timely basis
  • Monitor CSI Closed Loop process to ensure timely submission of Closed Loop Action Plans
  • Update shops on upcoming CSI surveys
  • Monitor updates of the 18 Month Term Out Report (RIDE) to ensure current status and action plans
