Inside Sales Representative
Ryder is looking for talented and motivated candidates for a role as an Inside Sales Representative. This position is primarily responsible for building a portfolio of clients and acting as a liaison between the client and operations. A heavy volume of outbound sales calls and cold calls are expected and a comfortability with this job responsibility is vital for success. The individual in this role will negotiate freight brokerage rates with clients, occasionally managing the negotiation and movements of product and goods, and resolve any issues that may occur with the load and delivery process. This position is viewed as a stepping stone within the organization for future sales opportunities and will provide a strong and real opportunity for career advancement. Compensation for this role will include a base salary and a monthly commission structure based on production. Previous Freight Brokerage experience is highly desirable and strongly preferred.
